Out in style!

For the last planned fayre of the season we visit Cardiff for the first time, and what a venue – the recently built Cardiff City Stadium, pictured below left.

Not only will there the usual goody bag on entrance, and all the stands with quality offering ideas on all the wedding paraphenalia you can think of, the fayre also boasts two fashion shows with Debenhams, and Ceridwen Wedding Design.

Do hope you can come and visit our stand - love to see you there!

A Right Royal Ale

Tis the time when lots of couples choose to wed – be it at the local registry office, in a village church, a hotel or other licensed venue, or for those of you who really want to push the boat out, Westminster Abbey.

That last choice of course only applies once in a while but this year, this month in fact, the opportunity comes round again with the nuptials of Prince William and Kate Middleton.

To mark the occasion there will be countless events & activities up & down the whole of Britain, near or on the day itself. Many of those will be based around a pub. Here in Wales I see that a Pontypridd local is having a Golden Royal Wedding Beer Festival over that weekend, and rather bizarrely one in Buckinghamshire is doing something similar – a weekend festival with a Welsh theme throughout!

But something else which has caught my eye, being someone who appreciates real ale, is that not only is the Nottingham brewery Castle Rock making a new ale called Kiss me Kate, but they are also offering the chance to a couple, one getting hitched the same day, to go along to the brewery and help make it.

I wonder if they’d allow a couple who just want a blessing? I’m sure I could get that date free!
